I want to give a big shout-out to our National Acupuncture Certification Board (NCCAOM) for investing in our occupation by hiring an organization that will advocate on our behalf. This group will work at a federal level and advance the thinking of our policymakers about acupuncture. Acupuncture is truly a viable solution for opioid addiction and the treatment of pain in the midst of our nation’s opioid crisis.
